Jane Dixon
Vice President of Human Resources, Culture and Talent
Jane Dixon serves as Vice President of Human Resources, Culture and Talent and is responsible for leading, managing, and evaluating the Boston Foundation’s human resources function to ensure the Foundation promotes a culture of excellence, equity and inclusion with opportunities for growth and development. She has been at the Foundation since 2014.
Previously, Jane served as Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness for Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, and Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for The Education Resources Institute. She also worked for several years as an independent HR management consultant to for-profit and non-profit organizations. She began her career in human resources in the financial services industry, and has taught human resources classes for local colleges and other organizations.
Jane is a member of the Human Resources Leadership Forum, Society for Human Resource Management, New England Human Resources Association, and New England Employee Benefits Council. She has served on non-profit Boards, including Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre and the Dance Complex, and as a member of the Board of Advisors to the Joslin Diabetes Center.
She holds an M.Ed. from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a B.A. degree in psychology from Smith College.
