Other COVID 19 Resources
Our list of other COVID-19 resources, including other organizations and funds supporting those most impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. This will be updated frequently.
Other Local Coronavirus Response Funds
In addition to establishing our COVID-19 Response Fund, we are coordinating our efforts with the City of Boston and the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. Our three funds serve complementary places within the ecosystem of need during this crisis.
The City of Boston, with a laser focus on Boston, and the United Way, with its regional network, are seeking to ensure the immediate needs of residents can be met, as well as those of front line medical and first responders. The Boston Foundation’s fund recognizes that even as the immediate critical needs are addressed, there will still be longer-term issues for residents and for the nonprofit sector as a whole. TBF’s fund will provide general operating support to give nonprofits flexible capital to ensure they can better manage increased caseloads and disruption of services.
Covid-19 Family Support Fund
United Way has established the COVID-19 Family Support Fund, a dedicated resource for working families affected by the COVID-19 public health emergency. They will mobilize their broad network of nonprofit agencies throughout the region to provide a flexible source of financial assistance to help families weather the COVID-19 crisis. Emergency financial assistance will support the basic needs of families impacted by the COVID-19 crisis meet their basic food, childcare or housing needs.
Boston Resiliency Fund
