Meet impala: A Free, New Network Platform for Grantseekers & Fundraisers

The Boston Foundation hosted an information session for fellow nonprofit partners to learn about impala, a groundbreaking new startup being built to democratize access to critical social impact data and connect grantmakers and grantseekers to foster greater collaboration. During this webinar, you will not only learn how to use the free platform, but the impala team also hopes to hear your questions and feedback to inform the ways in which the impala tools can impact and support your relationship-building and resource generation efforts.

Why is impala offering free access?
In partnership with Philanthropy Massachusetts, impala is providing free, premium access to its entire platform for all MA nonprofits, for 24 months, with grant support provided by the Barr Foundation and the Boston Foundation.
This initiative is part of impala’s commitment to democratize access to social impact data. impala is on a mission to create a level playing field, and believes that neither your background, your resources nor your location should determine whether you can access the information you need to make impactful decisions.
What can you do on impala?
You can do a lot. Here are a few highlights:
- Transparent access to the profiles of every philanthropic foundation and nonprofit in the United States. Clean, easy-to-understand information on grants given and received, funding trends, people and more
- Leverage data for better fundraising. Build smart prospect lists by seeing who gives to the same nonprofits and causes as your existing funders.
