Pylone Chantha Orphanage Project Fund

On a trip to Anguilla in 2019, Jerry O’Halloran and his wife had the good fortune of meeting Mary Pat O’Hanlon and Raoul Rodriguez at the Hibernia Restaurant. He learned about the work the couple was doing to help an orphanage in Myanmar, raising funds to support a loving home and an education for roughly 50 children.

Upon returning to the States, Jerry asked The Philanthropy Initiative to do an equivalency determination for the nonprofit Mary Pat and Raoul had begun some years ago, and established the Pylone Chantha Orphanage Project Fund at the Boston Foundation to enable U.S. travelers and others to contribute to this meaningful project “to put smiles on the faces of young boys and girls in Myanmar.”
