As convenor of the Wage Equity Now partnership, the Boston Foundation played a central role in advancing the Frances Perkins Workforce Equity Act, which was signed into law in August 2024, and will advance wage transparency and highlight pay and leadership gaps affecting women and people of color across industries.

Through our reports and advocacy efforts, the Boston Foundation has been a powerful advocate for expanding access to multifamily housing, providing critical research on issues from zoning to rental and homeownership affordability that informed and supported the passage of the Affordable Homes Act in 2024.
